MicroLatch company is developing fingerprint recognition technology for Apple future devices. It was supposed to be in iPhone 5 however Apple felt that Passbook does that kind of things for customers however they don’t know if NFC is the best solution or not. Apple wants to see how Passbook goes and it should be most successful in the future.
