Apple released new low-end redesigned iMac model for education institutions only. It is included a 21.5-inch display, 3.3 GHz Core i3 processor, 500GB of storage, and 4GB of memory which costs $1,099 which will save about $200 over the regular model. In the past, previous iMac costed $999 and was introduced more than a year ago for educational institutions however with new redesigned iMac model, it gives a school more affordable price tag compared to consumer iMacs. If schools do not mind to deal with higher budget, the ram can be increased to 16GB maximum and 1TB Fusion drive with $270 upgrade each. This iMac offered on the education institution Apple store can only be ordered directly by a school. It also will take about five to seven days for shipping.
