When the iPads were first announced a few weeks ago, news quickly spread that T-Mobile would offer 200MB data for free however when customers went into stores to grab the iPad today, they found out about $10 fee is required to pay unless subscribed to voice smartphone plans on T-Mobile.


T-Mobile CEO John Legere responded quickly on Twitter about this issue and claimed that the charges were an “executional mistake” and for that, the situation will be fixed soon. It means everyone should be able to get the 200MB of free data with “no strings attached”. T-Mobile offers the new iPad Air starting at $0 down with 24 monthly payments of $26.25.
